What Is a Decision Maker?

Stuck between options? A decision maker outsources the choice to chance so you can stop overthinking and move on. The magic 8-ball mode draws from the classic 19 fortune-telling replies — 'Signs point to yes', 'Reply hazy, try again', 'Don't count on it' — each tinted green, amber or red so the verdict reads at a glance.

The yes/no mode is a clean 50/50 flip, the same as a coin but in plain words. The custom mode lets you list any options (lunch spots, project names, who-goes-first) and picks one uniformly at random. Every mode uses crypto.getRandomValues, so the outcome is cryptographically fair regardless of which mode you pick.

Useful when you've narrowed the choice but can't commit.
