About WeGotEveryTool
WeGotEveryTool is a collection of 448 free online utilities built for developers, writers, students, and anyone who needs quick access to everyday tools. New tools are added regularly.
We built WeGotEveryTool because we were tired of bouncing between dozens of different websites for simple tasks — one site for JSON formatting, another for password generation, a third for unit conversion. We wanted one bookmark for the tools we reach for every day.
Our Principles
Privacy First
Every tool runs in your browser. Your data is processed locally and never sent to any server.
Instant & Fast
No file uploads, no waiting. Results appear instantly because everything runs on your device.
No Signup
We don't collect emails, require accounts, or track usage. Just use the tools.
Free Forever
All tools are free to use. We sustain the project through non-intrusive advertising.
What We Offer
We currently cover 19 categories with 448 tools, including text manipulation (word counter, case converters), developer utilities (JSON formatter, regex tester, hash generators, JWT decoder, UUID generator), calculators (BMI, GPA, tip, compound interest, percentage, age), unit converters, QR code generation and scanning, random generators (passwords, dice, coin flips), and validators (email, IP, browser info).
The roadmap covers image, PDF, AI-powered writing, SEO, color, encryption, social-media, writing, data, time, web, and finance tools. We ship them only once they actually work — no placeholders.
How We Build and Test Tools
Every tool on WeGotEveryTool is built and tested in-house. Tools that perform calculations (BMI, GPA, compound interest, percentages) are checked against published formulas — the formula used is shown on each page so the result is auditable. Encoders and decoders (Base64, URL, HTML entities, JWT, hashes) round-trip against the W3C and IETF spec implementations. Random generators use crypto.getRandomValues — the browser’s cryptographically secure random source — not Math.random.
We update tool pages when the underlying spec, formula, or recommendation changes — e.g. WHO BMI thresholds, NIST password guidance, or RFC updates that touch URL encoding. Each tool page shows its last-reviewed month.
Editorial & Disclaimer Policy
Our calculators are general-purpose tools, not professional advice. BMI is a screening number, not a medical diagnosis. Compound-interest projections do not account for taxes, inflation, fees or sequence-of- returns risk. For decisions with material consequences — medical, legal, financial, security — verify the result with a qualified professional. We cite the source spec for every encoder/decoder where one exists; calculators show the formula used.
