What Is a Coin Flipper?
A fair coin gives a 50% chance of heads on every flip, independent of every previous flip. It's the simplest example of a Bernoulli trial and the canonical random source in probability textbooks. People reach for a coin flipper when they need a decisive yes/no, a tiebreaker, or a quick demo of the law of large numbers (flip 1000 times and watch the heads-tails ratio converge to 0.5).
This flipper uses crypto.getRandomValues rather than Math.random, so every outcome is cryptographically unbiased. Flip once for a single decision, or set a batch size to watch the running tally settle toward 50/50.
Classroom teachers use it to demonstrate probability; sports captains use it for game-day decisions; everyone else uses it to settle who gets the last slice of pizza.
