Free Online Image Cropper Tool

1. Upload an image to load it onto the crop canvas.
2. Press and drag on the image to draw a selection rectangle.
3. Adjust by dragging a new box if the framing isn't right.
4. Click Crop selection to export just that region at full resolution.
5. Download the cropped PNG.

Cropping removes the outer parts of an image, keeping a chosen rectangle. Unlike resizing, it changes composition rather than scale — you discard pixels around the edges to reframe a subject, fix a tilt, or hit a target aspect ratio for a thumbnail or avatar.

This tool draws your image onto an HTML canvas and lets you drag a marquee directly on it. The area outside the selection is dimmed so you can see exactly what will survive. When you export, the selected region is mapped back to the original full-resolution pixels, so the crop is sharp rather than a blurry zoom of the on-screen preview.

The cropped output is saved as a lossless PNG. Everything — decoding, selecting, and exporting — runs in your browser via the Canvas API, so the image and the area you keep never leave your device.
